Little Boy Lost

It seems like an eternity since we last spoke
I miss you so much
the little talks
your laughter and especially your smile
remember this

I need so much to hear from you
I have whispered your name in my heart
but I don't seem to feel you
have you also gone from my life

like before all I can do is sit
and wonder why
no call no message
just a great and empty space

the space where you use to be
have you gone forever
or will you return to me
my love I need to tell you so much

but all I seem to do
is talk to myself
about what might have been
and wonder

no anger just sadness
that once again
I am left hanging
wondering why

looks like this is indeed
my circle
the one that never stops
just keeps going round again

don't think this will ever stop
the pain and hurt just keep coming
exposing my heart seems to be a flaw
that I am bound to do

no writing of letters
will heal this ache
my heart and soul are heavy
this evening I am a little boy lost
